ITE Canada’s Training Committee is pleased to present a course on Transportation & Affordability: Planning Complete Networks to Reduce Auto-Dependence.
This half-day training, delivered by Mobycon, will help transportation professionals understand the role they can play in addressing the housing crisis, what “car-lite” communities look like, and how to design and implement complete networks for new and intensifying communities.
Participants will leave this workshop with a stronger understanding of the building blocks for car-lite communities and actionable takeaways for their work in producing transportation master plans, secondary plans, plans of subdivision, and transportation impact assessments.
If you’re a transportation or land use planner, engineer, or other professional interested in designing more sustainable, affordable and inclusive communities, don’t miss this professional development opportunity.

Testimonials from recent participants
[This workshop] provided me with a good background of the subject along with a smattering of research and statistics, plus some exercises to help cement the learning objectives.
This was an interesting topic and I really appreciated learning about the European view on this matter. It was good to look through fresh perspectives on this topic.
I liked the case studies and particularly North American examples
I learned tools and techniques that are applicable in my practice to design communities with the intent of supporting a car-lite or car-free lifestyle. Real-life examples and a new greenfield case study were both explored.
